Backwater Jacks – Specializing in fresh seafood, this upscale waterfront restaurant has an oyster bar and a wide selection of fish like snapper, mahi mahi, and salmon. Save room for their key lime pie, a house specialty dessert. This excellent seafood restaurant is only a few miles from the Pelican Bay communities.

Campiello’s

Campiello’s – This refined Italian restaurant on 3rd Street South serves homemade pasta, veal chops, seafood, and brick oven pizzas. The room has an elegant charm with murals and a fireplace—an extensive wine list with many Italian varietals.

D’Amicos, The Continental

D’Amicos, The Continental – For those who love a great steak, The Continental on 3rd Street South is undoubtedly for you, where Waygu cuts, prime and grass-fed beef is expertly prepared. In addition, the menu also highlights daily fresh catches of fish and shellfish.

 

Entertainment

Located just steps from Pelican Bay is Artis—Naples, formerly known as the Naples Philharmonic. This world-class performance venue hosts an incredible lineup of shows and concerts featuring top artists and orchestras from around the globe. Each year’s highlights include performances by the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, dance shows like the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, distinguished speaker series, and family-friendly programs. The acoustics and architecture of Artis—Naples are spectacular, making it one of the premier cultural destinations in Naples.

In addition to internationally acclaimed entertainment at Artis—Naples, Pelican Bay offers residents many performing arts opportunities. With so many excellent shopping areas near Pelican Bay in Naples, Florida, discussing them all takes a lot of work. However, two shopping centers are resident favorites – Mercado and Waterside Shops.

Mercado

Mercado is an upscale open-air shopping village with over 30 luxury retailers and restaurants. Shoppers can begin browsing through the Nordstrom Rack and continue to Pandora, Tempur-pedic, Tommy Bahama, and Z-Gallerie to a list of high-end apparel stores and more. And while at it, you can enjoy a meal at one of the excellent restaurants on site.

Waterside Shops

Waterside Shops is another upscale outdoor shopping promenade. With nearly 50 designer boutiques and restaurants, Waterside Shops offers a fantastic shopping experience and delicious restaurants. Saks Fifth Avenue is the premier spot surrounded by stores such as Tiffany and Co., Ralph Lauren, Ann Taylor, Lily Pulitzer, Athleta, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn and the list goes on.

Between Mercado’s and Watersides luxury brands, these two centers offer some of the best shopping Naples has to offer residents and visitors alike. But please note, there are so many more excellent shopping areas nearby to Pelican Bay.
